Subjects Available

Math at Home offers exclusively one on one private tutoring at the following levels:
  • Math 10C
  • Math 20-1 and 20-2
  • Math 30-1 and 30-2
  • Will consider Math 9
Most of her students attend Foothills Comp., HTA or Strathcona-Tweedsmuir, or are home-schooled.

Tutoring can be offered online or in person at Sue's home, a 3-5-minute walk from EFCHS.

Tutoring Hours

For the 2023-24 shool year, Sue offers tutoring seven days per week, as follows:

  • Monday to Friday mornings (usually 7:00am, 8:00am, and 9:00am starts)
  • Saturdays and Sunday mornings (usually 7:00am, 8:00am, 9:00am, and 10:00am starts)

In the weeks leading up to the end of semester, students frequently seek additional help, so Sue books additional sessions within the above hours.

Costs

The hourly rate that you pay depends on when you choose to pay.

About Sue

Sue Gothard tutored in the separate school system since 1997: for much of that time she specialized in the High School math curriculum.
In February 2011, after offering part-time home tutoring in addition to her duties in the school system, she "quit her day job" and started Math at Home, tutoring from her home in Okotoks.
