TESTIMONIALS

Thanks soooo much for your assistance through out T's high school years. She has appreciated and enjoyed her time with you immensely.
Hard to believe she is graduating!
Where does the time go?

We will be in touch next summer to schedule tutoring time as her brother begins his high school journey.

The math test went super well! I found it a lot easier then I thought it was going to be so that was a major relief! I am hoping above an 80. When I get my marks in I will let you no right away!!

Thank you for all the help over the past three years. I couldn't have done it without you. Hope to see you soon!

From the student herself

We can not thank you enough for the work you are doing with S. We spoke to his teachers last night and they have noticed a considerable positive change in his work and attitude in the last couple of weeks; there is no doubt we attribute your significant contribution to this change.

Mother of Grade 8 JPII Student

Thank you for your continued work with S. She was a lot calmer about the PAT after your session. She has really been panicking about it lately. I will have to get her to sing some of her math facts, that sounds like something that she would totally get into. We appreciate all that you are doing to boost her confidence.

Thanks for all you have done to help L. She has just left for her exam, bright and early and nervous. I will be sure to let you know how she found the exam and when we get the mark I will let you know. She tries so hard, I hope she is successful.

I know she enjoyed re-connecting with you. I think you are an excellent teacher and a very fine lady.

Rachael and I are very happy with T's increased confidence in math. The marks are climbing at a wonderful rate. We have also been trying to have him relax before any and all exams, that will take some time for him. Confidence comes with practice and he is definitely practicing.

Thanks again for all your work with T. I know he enjoys your effort and time.

Again, I just wanted to say how dear and lovely a person you are Sue - you have such a passion for life and you give all that you have into the people around you. You have a wonderful gift and we are blessed to have you in our lives!

A is more of a visual learner and I'm sure that helped greatly. When I asked her how the final exam went this morning she said "easy"! We shall see, but thanks to you she went in feeling more confident and better than ever!

Thank you for all you have done for both of us. If its ok, we will call on you again for help:) Have a great day!

Thank-you very much for all your help. Nick finally enjoys math, and you made that happen. I wish we would have found you years ago. Thank-you.

Thanks for all your help Sue!
Lindsey HAS come a long way - now instead of looking at math as a burden, she has been happy and confident these last few weeks telling me that when she was working with you she was getting all the answers correct.

I think Lindsey also picked up on your positive and patient manner, learning to be calm and to work thru problems.

I hope you will be able to keep a spot for Lindsey next year; no matter what her mark she has such a better attitude towards math. I can't thank you enough!

Sue Gothard tutored our daughter for a year. Our daughter really loved Sue. I saw her attitude change from one of despair to a growth of confidence that she could do math. She gain a deeper understanding and learn how to read and interpret math questions and equations.

Sue scheduled times that fit our schedule and was flexible and available for extra sessions before exams. The environment was quiet, free of distractions and the whole hour was focused on the tasks at hand.
We will seek Sue's tutoring in the future. We recommend Sue's tutoring services to anyone wishing to improve their math skills.

Many thanks for all your hard work on my son. When he came to you he had a 15% in math 10-1 and a poor attitude to boot. He came away from your tutoring with a much better attitude and actually understood his coursework whereas before he just got frustrated with it.

Your approachable and friendly manner went a long way to his improvement.

He passed the grade!

Sue Gothard has been tutoring Jeff through two semesters of high school math, Applied Math 10 and Math 20. We have been very impressed with the results of Jeff’s tutoring sessions with Ms. Gothard. With two hours per week of tutoring through Applied Math 10, Jeff’s understanding of this course are clearly reflected in his progress and marks. He struggled through math in Junior High and with the guidance and support from Ms. Gothard; he managed to bring his marks up to an above-average range. He is currently working through Applied Math 20 with Ms. Gothard’s support and is well on his way to above average grades.

Ms. Gothard has always been very flexible regarding the scheduling of sessions and making up missed sessions. Jeff indicates that the environment for his tutoring sessions are comfortable, distraction free and appropriate for positive learning. Ms. Gothard is very knowledgeable regarding these math courses and has assisted and continues to assist Jeff with managing the curriculum with success. She not only provides the instruction she assists Jeff to understand to process of problem-solving. She has a great rapport with Jeff and he responds to her teaching methods.

Ms. Gothard has made a point of following up with Jeff’s math teacher to ensure the appropriate material is being covered and that Jeff is prepared for any upcoming tests or exams. We believe that Jeff would not experience the success he has without this tutoring support. In this case it is money well spent!

Sue Gothard was sincerely a Godsend for both of our children. Sue offered up her spare time to accommodate their educational needs. Sue was then a TA at Holy Trinity Academy.

Sue’s subject knowledge and teaching skills, clearly offered a relaxed, yet dedicated environment. Her ability to work with/at a student’s current knowledge level provided a huge comfort zone for the student, thereby illustrated Sue’s skill set to adjust and created a learning atmosphere for the student to build confidence and productivity.

We would never hesitate to reference this dedicated Tutor.

Quality of results far outweighed dollars paid.
